Prishtina Institute for Political Studies in cooperation with Group for Legal and Political Studies, supported by the Dutch Embassy in Kosovo, held the third informative conference on the SAA on 23 February 2017 in Peja. This conference was implemented in the framework of the PIPS EU-Kosovo-SAA / Our contract for the future Project. Participants of this conference were municipal officials from Peja and other municipalities of the region. This conference dealt with the importance of the SAA and municipal obligations: SAA implementation at the local level on policy planning, monitoring and reporting.
School for Political Studies has held an online lecture & discussion with Dr. Gëzim Visoka on the topic "Peace through mutual recognition: The current situation in Kosovo and future opportunities".
On 15 July School for Political Studies held a discussion with Mr. Shpend Ahmeti, Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina on the topic of "Effects of the pandemic on the Kosovar economy".
The second seminar of the School for Political Studies was held from July 21-23 and July 28-30. Over the course of six days the participants participated in lectures by public policy experts in the areas of political ideology and its effects on public policy.
On July 7, the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) published the policy analysis "Rationalization of Independent Agencies and Regulators in Kosovo". The analysis drafted after a period of several months of research provides an overview of the current situation of public administration reform, namely the implementation of the rationalization of independent, executive and regulatory agencies.
