Challenges in the field of Rule of Law reforms part of the SAA and EU Reform Agenda

Group for Legal and Political Studies, in cooperation with PIPS, organized a roundtable on "Challenges in the field of Rule of Law reforms part of the SAA and EU Reform Agenda" on 15 November 2016. This panel was represented by Gerrie Willems – Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Kosovo; Sevdije Morina – Deputy Prosector; Njomza Emini – Head of the European Integration Parliamentary Commission; Shaip Havolli – Director of the Anti-corruption Agency; Artan Canhasi – Democratic Institute of Kosovo. Panelists emphasized the importance of the rule of law, in the context of the SAA. They focused on the core reforms including strengthening institutions that enforce rule of law; preventing and combating organized crime, corruption, and money laundry. GLPS and PIPS also presented a report of policies that serve as rule of law conditions set by EU through SAA.
