Që nga viti 2003, Shkolla Politike implementohet nga Instituti i Prishtinës për Studime Politike me përkrahjen dhe nën ombrellën e Këshillit të Evropës.Shkolla Politike e Prishtinës është themeluar me qëllim të fuqizimit të liderëve politikë, ekonomik, social dhe kulturor, për të ndihmuar procesin e tranzicionit të shoqërisë kosovare duke mbeshtetur krijimin e një shoqërie moderne, kulture politike demokratike, përmes ofrimit të një hapësire për dialog dhe shkëmbim ndërmjet liderëve aktualë dhe të ardhshëm, të ardhur nga një sërë sferash. Në një vështrim më të gjerë, puna e Shkollës Politike lidhet me adresimin e deficitit demokratik, sundimit të ligjit dhe çështjes së të drejtave të njeriut.Pjesëmarrësit e Shkollës janë të përzgjedhur nga një gamë e gjerë grupesh, akterësh dhe organizatash si partitë politike, administrata publike, shoqëria civile, media, grupet minoritare, biznesi dhe akademia.Fokusi edukativ i Shkollës mund të përshkruhet me idenë e fuqizimit të parimeve dhe praktikave demokratike. Modulet e Shkollës përfshijnë tema si: funksionimi i rendit demokratik me pjesëmarrjen, përfaqësimin dhe gjithëpërfshirjen, qeverisja e mirë, të drejtat e njeriut, politikat e sigurisë, politika e jashtme dhe marrëdhëniet ndërkombëtare, politikat zhvillimore si energjia dhe agjenda e gjelbër, si dhe partitë politike dhe roli i medias.Çdo vit akademik, shkolla pranon një grup deri në 30 pjesëmarrës të cilët përzgjedhën në bazë të aftësive të tyre profesionale, duke marrë në konsideratë edhe faktorë të tjerë relevantë politik, social, etnik, gjinor, dhe gjeografik. Një numër i konsiderueshëm ish-pjesëmarrësish të Shkollës Politike mbajnë pozita kyçe në jetën politike dhe sociale në Kosovë. Për më tepër, ligjëruesit e Shkollës janë ekspertë të fushave të ndryshme, të përfshirë në proceset politike dhe jetën publike, akademike, përfaqësues institucionesh dhe organizatash, diplomatë dhe gazetarë, vendor dhe ndërkombëtar.SHKOLLA POLITIKE E PRISHTINËS KA HAPUR KONKURSIN PËR PRANIMIN E KANDIDATËVE PËR GJENERATËN E NJËZET E NJËT (21).KUSH MUND TË APLIKOJË?Kandidatët të cilët mund të aplikojnë për të vijuar programin e Shkollës Politike duhet të plotësojnë kriteret si më poshtë: Përfaqësues nga partitë politike, institucionet publike, mediat, OJQ dhe biznesit; Të ketë diplomuar së paku në nivelin Bachelor; Njohuria e gjuhës angleze është e obligueshme; Të mos ketë tejkaluar moshën 40 vjeçare; Qytetarë të Republikës së Kosovës; Aktiv dhe aspirues për tu veçuar në fushën e tyre të veprimit.Përveç kritereve të mësipërme, procedura e përzgjedhjes së përcaktuar nga Shkolla do të favorizojë ata kandidatë të cilët demonstrojnë njohuri dhe gatishmëri për t'u angazhuar aktivisht në programin akademik dhe profesional, si dhe të shprehin qëndrimet e tyre lirshëm, duke i kontribuar debatit konstruktiv. Schools Network was created by the Council of Europe in 2005 in order to provide a framework for the exchange of information, expertise and practices between the Schools. The network also provides a milieu in which regional and bilateral activities between two or more schools take place. Today Schools of Politics operate in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus. Such a wide reach has necessarily increased the need for cooperation, therefore the network offers such opportunity. To find out more about the School Network download the following documen here. Association of School of Political Studies of the Council of Europe was founded in 2008 by the Directors of Schools of Politics, with the aim of strengthening links, stimulating development and supporting the schools. Equipped with a legal framework, Schools now have a tool that allows the Network to communicate with its own voice. The Association plays an important role in supporting School Alumni. The Association's website has become a major hub for communication and information for its members, and provides a platform for dialogue and exchange between school graduates and current participants. This event annually brings together in Strasbourg School of Politics of all countries, and in addition, as the program is open to other participants as well. The themes of the World Forum on Democracy vary from year to year. Until now, participants have had the opportunity to attend editions discussing democracy, power, social cohesion, social inclusion, political elites, the new Europe, the Arab Spring, media gender representation and information. Prishtina School of Politics has been represented in this event with over 250 participants over the years. The World Forum on Democracy also serves as a platform for sharing experiences and sharing best practices, applied in a variety of contexts.
