Dialogu i Prishtinës – Ballkani dhe Azia e Jugut

Më 25 nëntor 2024, Instituti i Prishtinës për Studime Politike (PIPS), në bashkëpunim me Institutin Aziatik të Diplomacisë dhe Çështjeve Ndërkombëtare (AIDIA) dhe Ministrinë e Punëve të Jashtme dhe Diasporës së Kosovës organizuan forumin “Dialogu i Prishtinës – Ballkani dhe Azia e Jugut” , e cila u mbështet financiarisht nga Fondacioni i Kosovës për Shoqëri të Hapur (KFOS).

Ky event i nivelit të lartë mblodhi për herë të parë aktorë kryesorë, politikëbërës, liderë, përfaqësues të shoqërisë civile dhe media nga Kosova dhe Azia e Jugut (India, Nepali, Bangladeshi, dhe Shri Lanka) për të diskutuar mundësitë dhe sfidat e përbashkëta në fushën e demokracisë, bashkëpunimit rajonal dhe zhvillimit ekonomik.

Një temë e rëndësishme e diskutuar ishte zgjerimi i partneriteteve të Kosovës me vendet e Azisë Jugore, duke kërkuar mundësi bashkëpunimit bilateral në tregti, investime dhe shkëmbime kulturore. Panelistët e ftuar gjithashtu diskutuan zhvillimin e Kosovës në procesin e shtet-ndërtimit, si dhe angazhimin e shoqërisë civile dhe medias për promovimin e llogaridhënies dhe mbrojtjes së demokracisë.

Të gjithë panelistët, konsideruan se forumi “Dialogu i Prishtinës – Ballkani dhe Azia e Jugut” ka hapur mundësi të reja për zhvillimin e marrëdhënieve mes këtyre dy rajoneve dhe ka krijuar një platformë bashkëpunimi të qëndrueshëme. Ata gjithashtu u shprehën se forumet e tilla ndihmojnë në forcimin e lidhjeve mes Kosovës dhe Azisë Jugore dhe u mirëprit ideja e aktiviteteve të ngjashme si vazhdimësi e bashkëpunimit të mëtejmë.

On July 7, the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) published the policy analysis "Rationalization of Independent Agencies and Regulators in Kosovo". The analysis drafted after a period of several months of research provides an overview of the current situation of public administration reform, namely the implementation of the rationalization of independent, executive and regulatory agencies.

OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOL FOR POLITICAL STUDIES 2021

Prishtina School for Political Studies has opened the call for application for the admission of candidates for the nineteenth generation (19).

School for Political Studies is one of the first non-formal political education programs in Kosovo and the oldest program that is still active. School for Political Studies has been implemented by the Prishtina Institute for Political Studies since 2003 through the support of the Council of Europe.

The aim of the program is to promote a new political culture for young leaders in line with the three key principles of the Council of Europe: democracy, rule of law and human rights. Throughout a year 30 participants coming from political parties, media, civil society, public administration etc. have the opportunity to attend modules with lectures from eminent local and international speakers. The program is currently implemented in 22 different countries around the world and graduates are certified by the Council of Europe and the Secretary General of this organization.
