During this weekend, from October 4 to 6, the 5th seminar was held, which coincides with the last seminar of the 22nd generation of the Political School of PIPS.The topic of this seminar was "Political Communication, Disinformation and Participation", where as an element there was more work in groups and more practical topics.
During Saturday, interesting discussions were held, where we worked on strategies and messages for political campaigns, under the leadership of Mr. Neritan Sejamini.The seminar continued on Sunday with a lecture by Mr. Shkëlzen Osmani and Mr. Festim Rizanaj from Hibrid.info, who shared with the participants deep knowledge on disinformation in the digital age, offering concrete examples and strategies on how we can fight this phenomenon. In the afternoon, populism as a form of political communication was examined by Mr. Agon Maliqi, where the challenges presented by this phenomenon for democracy were discussed more concretely. This discussion was followed by Mr. Valon Kurhasani, who emphasized the role of political parties as catalysts for civic engagement.
A special thanks to all the lecturers and participants of the 22nd generation of the Political School! Their commitment, dedication and discussions significantly enriched the School, contributing to the quality of the lectures and seminars held.
