Closing event of the Program for journalists in the field of energy and environment and awarding of prizes for the best articles
On December 1, PIPS concluded its one-year commitment as part of the Program for Journalists in the fields of Energy and Environment.

As part of this program, PIPS through the support of GIZ, during this year has held a seminar on energy and sustainable environmental planning, a workshop on environmental reporting and has organized a competition for the best articles on energy and environmental issues.

At the last event PIPS awarded certificates to the participants of the program, as well as awarded prizes for the three best entries.

Awards were given to:

First place - Albulena Mavraj with the article "Kosovo, a landfill of mineral waste that spreads poison"

Second place - Dafina Lata with the article "Media reporting and freedom of expression on energy and environmental issues"

Third place - Albulena Avdiu with the article "What is the environmental impact bill from green energy projects in Kosovo?

OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOL FOR POLITICAL STUDIES 2021

Prishtina School for Political Studies has opened the call for application for the admission of candidates for the nineteenth generation (19).

School for Political Studies is one of the first non-formal political education programs in Kosovo and the oldest program that is still active. School for Political Studies has been implemented by the Prishtina Institute for Political Studies since 2003 through the support of the Council of Europe.

The aim of the program is to promote a new political culture for young leaders in line with the three key principles of the Council of Europe: democracy, rule of law and human rights. Throughout a year 30 participants coming from political parties, media, civil society, public administration etc. have the opportunity to attend modules with lectures from eminent local and international speakers. The program is currently implemented in 22 different countries around the world and graduates are certified by the Council of Europe and the Secretary General of this organization.
