The First Seminar Overview of Employment Policies was organized as part of the regional project Promoting Youth Employment through Social Partnership and Cooperation. This was the first phase of the 18 month project which is focused on six municipalities in Kosovo and Serbia, three per each: Prizren, Peja, Mitrovica, Nis, Vranje and Leskovac. The panelists of the first Seminar were: Aleksandra Vladisavljevic, Jelena Milovanovic, Fatmir Haxholli, Slavo Djokic dhe Lorik Mullaademi. The panelists spoke on behalf of Political Institutions, Educative Organs and CSOs in order to exchange experiences and come out with a concrete strategy in the end of the project, that would decrease the number of unemployed youth in both countries.
On July 7, the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) published the policy analysis "Rationalization of Independent Agencies and Regulators in Kosovo". The analysis drafted after a period of several months of research provides an overview of the current situation of public administration reform, namely the implementation of the rationalization of independent, executive and regulatory agencies.
The second seminar of the School for Political Studies was held from July 21-23 and July 28-30. Over the course of six days the participants participated in lectures by public policy experts in the areas of political ideology and its effects on public policy.
School for Political Studies has held an online lecture & discussion with Dr. Gëzim Visoka on the topic "Peace through mutual recognition: The current situation in Kosovo and future opportunities".
