Study visit with MPs on sustainable urban mobility in Lubljana

As part of PIPS engagement in support of sustainable urban mobility, in one of the leading countries in sustainable urban mobility a study visit for Members of Parliaments of Southeast Europe was held from 13-14 May. Kosovar MPs Liburn Aliu and Mimoza Kusari took part in this visit in Ljubljana, Slovenia organized by GIZ Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe - Energy Efficiency.

The participants were welcomed by the mayor, Mr. Zoran Janković and had the opportunity to get to know more about the improvements in public transport, parking management, bicycle lanes and improvements for pedestrians through visits to key areas of the city.

During this visit the Kosovar delegation also had the opportunity to discuss national support to sustainable urban mobility through meeting with representatives from the urban mobility team of the Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure.
